I was visiting Alyssa’s official website and I noticed she blogged recently about her visit to Kosovo. Like Alyssa, I vaguely remember the conflicts going on in the war-torn country, but I remember more someone close to me going there to help these people and he didn’t come back the same person.

I read with great interested the story of Alyssa’s visit and I thought you, the fans, would enjoy reading about it as well.

Before I leave for any UNICEF field visit, I do quite a bit of research about where I’m going. I think like most people in the US, I didn’t know much about Kosovo at all. I vaguely remembered hearing news stories of the war back in 1999. There were reports of a conflict between Serbs and Albanians, talk of the NATO bombings, and of course Slobodian Milošević. But since then, there has been little news available. This is all my roundabout way of saying that it wasn’t until I got to Kosovo that I truly understood the complexities of this place and even more important, the complexities of healing a society in which everyone, in some way, was touched by war.

Romantically Challenged and The Ghost Whisperer are no more

Alyssa Milano’s sitcom Romantically Challenged lasted only a handful of episodes before being cancelled by ABC, while Jennifer Love Hewitt’s five-years-and-counting paranormal drama The Ghost Whisperer was also axed by CBS. As the networks are announcing their new slate of shows, lots of programs are headed for the guillotine. Another cancelled program is Julia Louis-Dreyfuss’ The New Adventures of Old Christine

Welcome to Charming Alyssa. I’m Natalie and the new owner of this site. You may know me from sites such as Anne Hathaway: Hollywood Princess, Intoxicated Twilight, The Vampire Diaries: Blood Falls or Salted & Burned. Andrea wanted to step down from the site and was gracious enough to allow me to take over.

Aniek and Christine are staying onboard as staff and I’m very happy and fortunate to have them work with me on this site.

I don’t plan on making any changes to the site, just simply continue Andrea’s amazing work and bring you, the fans, the latest in news, images and media about Alyssa Milano. We will continue the no paparazzi/gossip policy.

I’ve been a huge fan of Alyssa’s since her “Who’s the Boss?” days (showing my age here lol), and adored her in her movie projects and of course one of my alltime favourite tv shows, “Charmed”.
