Christina Applegate And Alyssa To Star In Comedy ‘Hall Pass’

Posted by Aniek on February 27th, 2010, under Alyssa and Projects

They both played TV teenagers in the 90s, but it took a couple decades for actresses Christina Applegate and Alyssa Milano to earn a “Hall Pass.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, the lovely ladies have been cast in the Farrelly brothers comedy alongside already announced stars Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, Jenna Fischer and Amanda Bynes .

With a growing gang of famous faces, the flick seems to be shaping up to be the raunchy step-cousin to Garry Marshall’s sweet-as-pie “Valentine’s Day” (though we somehow doubt the actors’ mugs will be combined into the shape of a heart for the “Hall Pass” poster).
The flick “centers on what happens when two husbands are given permission to go outside their marriages for guilt-free romantic liaisons for one week.” We’re not sure which characters Christina and Alyssa will play, but it’s likely at least one, if not both, will be married to the husbands mentioned, which leaves one burning question: Who in their right mind who want to step out on these gals? We’re curious to see how this kooky premise turns out and if the wives get a little on-the-side lovin’ of their own (if you know what I mean).

What do you think Crushers? Do you think “Hall Pass” is going to ace the reviews or end up on academic probation?

Alyssa tweets about Tiger and his statement

Posted by Aniek on February 21st, 2010, under Alyssa and Rumors & Gossip

While it’s true Gossip Cop covered Tiger Woods‘ televised statement – so that everyone could read and hear him address his infidelities, what happened that Thanksgiving night, and his future golf plans – it did strike us as odd that on ABC, for example, respected journalists Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos offered a recap and an analysis of Woods’ comments.

And while we completely understand why the 24-hour cable networks would cover Woods’ remarks, having network programming interrupted for the golfer’s apology – and a dissection of what he said – seems a little over the top.

We weren’t the only ones who felt Woods’ personal failings did not deserve the type of analysis one would give to a State of the Union address. Alyssa Milano has chimed in as well. The actress tweeted, “Can some1 explain to me how a man-slut gets the same network coverage as our President or a telethon for #Haiti. Anyone?”

Alyssa swoops in to help two-legged dog

Posted by Aniek on February 18th, 2010, under Alyssa

Hello everyone! My name is Aniek and i will be helping out Andrea with this amazing site. I want to start with a little news! Alyssa became the godmother of a two legged dog named Scooby-Roo, who was born with only two legs. Read the message below and check the pic in the gallery.

PUPPY POWER: Scooby-Roo getting a smooch and a scratch from Alyssa Milano at her Los Angeles home during a play date. Milano became Roo’s godmother after the actress saw a video on the Internet and called to offer money and moral support to the two-legged dog.

Like any good Hollywood transplant, Scooby-Roo went from a troubled past to rehab. The two-legged dog has celebrity friends like Demi Moore and Alyssa Milano. He has a therapist and a personal trainer and can look forward to a masseuse and acupuncturist.
It did not start out that way. The 11-month-old mutt was born without front legs and dumped in South Central Los Angeles. He and his sister Sophie were found living in a wrecked, abandoned car near a freeway onramp. He was covered in blood from scooting around on the asphalt.

A pair of good Samaritans caught the dogs and took them to Sheila Choi, who runs Fuzzy Dog and Cat Rescue Inc in Santa Monica, outside Los Angeles. While some shelters might have euthanized the dogs, Choi sent out a mass e-mail looking for donations and other support.

Demi Moore tweeted about Roo. Shannon Elizabeth sent money and tweeted for more dollars.

Alyssa Milano saw a YouTube video of the dog and fell in love, she said through her publicist. She called Choi, promised to help any way she could and became the dog’s godmother. Their first get-together included a photo shoot.  Choi also has talked to the Jackson family publicist to try to work out a meeting between Roo and Paris and Prince.  The dog, named for his Scooby-Doo! colouring and kangaroo hop, got a therapist for his emotional scars and a personal trainer to help with the wheels. As he progresses, Choi said they are looking at hydrotherapy and massages. Milano thinks he should see an acupuncturist too.

With the celebrity help, Choi collected US$2000 (NZ$2800) for a set of custom wheels for Roo.
